Donald J. "Jim" Baldwin, Jr., 82, of 809 South Kendall Ave., Bradford, PA

Donald J. "Jim" Baldwin, Jr., 82, of 809 South Kendall Ave., passed away Tuesday, December 20th, 2011 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born November 7, 1929, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Donald James and Alice Jane (Middleborough) Baldwin Sr.

On December 30, 1950 in Bradford he married Mary Jane (Dodson) Baldwin who survives.

Mr. Baldwin was a 1949 graduate of Bradford High School. He enlisted in the United States Army on September 5,1950, he served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on May 22, 1952. He had been employed at Bovaird & Seafang, JC Penneys Auto Center and then at Dresser Manufacturing as a machinist for 30 years.

Surviving is his wife of 60 years, a daughter, Darlene A. (Rich Wolfanger) Perry of Bradford, two sons Donald E. (Anita) Baldwin of Bradford, and Timothy L. Baldwin of Cyclone, a sister, Patricia (Lloyd) Burkhouse of Bradford, two brothers, Clark Francis "Si" (Jane) Baldwin of Vestal, NY and Rev. Robert "Butch" (Sandy) Baldwin of Smethport, five grandchildren, Barbara Torrey of Lewis Run, John Perry of Bradford, Justin Baldwin of Cyclone, Donald Baldwin of Ohio and Kimberly Baldwin of Warren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Kay Whitman and Doris Joy Singer.

At the request of the family there will be no public visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
