No Injuries In Hebron Township Crash Tuesday

A two car crash at the intersection of Route 44 and the South Branch Road in Hebron Township on Tuesday at 11:26 am resulted in disabling damage to both vehicles, but no injuries to their drivers.

The crash occurred as a 2007 Toyota 4 Runner driven by Raymond S. Frey, 79, of Coudersport, PA, was at the stop sign on South Branch Road at the intersection with Rt. 44 and turned left, attempting to enter Rt. 44 southbound.

Lorrie S. Jandrew, 42, of Shinglehouse, PA, was northbound on Route 44, driving a 2006 GMC Envoy, when Frey pulled out and into the path of her vehicle.

Jandrew's Envoy struck Frey's Toyota in the driver's side rear of the vehicle with the driver's side front of her vehicle. Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene by Blacks Auto Body and Jenigens.

Coudersport Fire Rescue responded to the scene and assisted troopers. Coudersport Ambulance was also called to the scene, but transport was not deemed necessary. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Frey was cited by Trooper Timothy W. Mix with a Stop & Yield Sign violation.
