NY reporter looking to interview fracking opponents in PA - Tioga & Lycoming

NY reporter looking to interview fracking opponents in PA - Tioga & Lycoming counties

Steve Orr, a reporter for the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, NY
will be in Lycoming & Tioga PA counties on assignment, probably as
early as next week. He is looking for frack opponents in those
counties to interview. He said his paper hasn’t done coverage on the
PA fracking situation prior to this.

Please ask the people you know in Lycoming & Tioga to contact Steve
directly if they’re interested in talking with him for the story.

Sounds like he's an objective journalist.

Meh, I dunno 8:36, proponents (proponent material) for gas are all over the place..at the top on internet search engine's lists, overly sentimental tv commercials, half truth/pseudo science handouts, etc..the industry pays good money for it.

Perhaps the fella is truly looking to add more substance, pith to his data set.

Thanks for the lesson 9:43. Apparently, I just don't understand the difference between Journalism, Marketing, and Search Engines.

Numbers have shifted. It's going to be much easier to find anti-frack people now, then it was a year ago :)

Just one sided crap! Why not look at both sides?

Sure, but they'll all take that discounted gas just the same and all the while: "We shouldn't have windfarms because they're bad for the bats. We shouldn't have fracking because it's bad for the environment. We shouldn't be involved in wars over foreign oil. We shouldn't be dependent on foreign oil. We shouldn't put up with capitalism because it isn't fair. We're here to be heard, but we don't have a solution. You provide that and we'll tell you if we like it, but we probably won't."

That's funny. Ever contact the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle about something positive going on in our area and they'll tell you that you're too far away for them to care about. Don't be used by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle! Tell the Democrat and Chronicle they are too far away for us to care about!
