Rollover Crash Injures Emporium Woman

An Emporium woman was injured in a one vehicle rollover crash on Route 120 east of Emporium, near Cameron, Thursday night at 10:20 pm .

Sheri L. Harrier, 37, of Emporium, PA, was taken from the Portage Township crash by Emporium Ambulance to Elk Regional Health Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

Trooper Allen L. Brothers said in a press release tonight that the crash occurred as Harrier was traveling west in a 2005 Dodge Durango. The Durango's right front wheel dropped off the roadway causing the vehicle to travel north off the road and up an embankment where it rolled counterclockwise onto it's roof. It came to rest on it's roof on the north side of Route 120.

Harrier was wearing her seatbelt. She will be cited for Roadways Lanes For Traffic in District Court.

Emporium Fire Department and Emporium Ambulance assisted at the scene. The vehicle was towed by Ramsey's Towing.

I find it rather ridiculous that every time there is an accident the driver gets fined for Roadways laned of traffic. This is stupid and it is just a way for the state to make money. If it was an accident why make someone pay a fine.
