Strategies for PCVA’s 50th Year to be Discussed in Conference Call

Strategies for PCVA’s 50th Year to be Discussed in Conference Call

Potter County business owners and organization representatives are invited to join in a discussion of how the Potter County Visitors Association (PCVA) can best serve them in 2012, the organization’s 50th year of service, and beyond. Business owners are encouraged to participate in PCVA’s next quarterly conference call on December 8 at 5:30 PM. From the convenience of home or office, business owners can share their ideas on how PCVA can best provide promotional services to local businesses and organizations in the coming years.

Those who call in can learn about PCVA’s current efforts to help businesses reach out to visitors, other area businesses and organizations, community members and the media, as well as discuss how PCVA can continue to represent them in the future.

To obtain the toll-free 800 number and access code for the call, contact the PCVA office at 814-274-3365 or email potter@penn.com.

The Potter County Visitors Association is the official tourist promotion agency of Potter County, PA. A membership-based, 501(c)6 non-profit organization. PCVA’s mission is to enhance local economic development and quality of life by promoting tourism and recreational opportunities in Potter County. Originally incorporated in 1962 as the Denton Hill Recreation Association, PCVA currently serves 185 business members.

Not to sound negetive but with all the so called promoting tourism, local development, and a better quality of life where is it ? I have seen nothing but a decline over the past 40 or so years! At the last Austin boro meeting Dave Brooks said it would cost over 3 million dollars to connect the town to the dam property!(WHAT?) Where is all this money going to come from ? Time to quit dreaming and get real!
