Man Charged For Burning 2 Mobile Homes In Betula

Man Charged with Dangerous Burning

A Mount Jewett man has been charged with dangerous burning for setting fire to two mobile homes after being hired to demolish them.

State Police Fire Marshal Greg Agosti says 39-year-old Christopher Johnson was hired to demolish the mobile homes on Route 46, about a quarter of a mile north of Route 146 in Norwich Township. At around 11:23 a.m. on Saturday he allegedly set the fire.

A passing motorist reported the fire to McKean County 911. The Norwich Township, Smethport and Port Allegany fire departments responded to the scene. No one was hurt.

It's coming down to this in this state.... The freaking state boys can cite you for ANYTHING if you got the wrong name or no means to defend yourself. This guy has nothing but what he scrapes up for himself in work. He gets an odd job, goes about doing it, then the cops show up and cite hime for burning garbage!!!
Reminds me of the guy who went to jail IN STATE PRISON for a year for selling coke one or two times with a public defender, while the guy who he was getting it from, who had been dealing HUGE quantities for years and years, got a good lawyer (wonder how he paid for it?)and got LESS THAN A YEAR IN COUNTY!!
Money talks and bullshit walks, my friends, here in McKean county Pennsyl-Tenna-Tucky.

Why is there this persistent view that buying drugs is so much less of a crime than selling drugs?

It is odd when you consider just how many people in the chain are filling both of those roles at different times.

I think people have this naive view from drug commercials in the 90's that drug dealers are out there forcing drugs on people that don't want to take them.

Because obviously drug users bear none of the responsibility of choosing to use drugs and someone else should be responsible for making that decision for them. [/sarcasm]
