People need to slow down and use caution instead of blaming others. Praying for those in the accidents!

Rte 872--Dutch Hill to Austin has been plow twice. A very nice JOB. On up 872 to six has not been touched and is very bad!!
Too bad the Truch from Austin up couldn't go all the way to Rte 6. It's just the way it is!!

I am the husband of the driver. Estimated speed is about 10 to 15 MPH. My wife states that she was doing about 10 - 15 MPH at the time as well when she was sucked off of the road by the snow/slush mix.

This was not a case of careless driving or driving at excessively fast speeds. My wife was taking her time and doing her best to drive safe. Unfortunately, the road had other ideas.

Thank you for the concern and prayers, she is alright with two bruised ribs from her seat belt.

Cherry Springs road is very much a mess right now. Those with 4WD and AWD were still sliding a bit on the road when I arrived. I have AWD in the other vehicle that I own that I drove to the scene with.

More trucks isn't the answer. Slow down and use commonsense is! Its time for people to take ownership and quit blaming someone else when they screw up.

Perfect manicured roads would cost the taxpaers millions more in taxes.

PennDot, townships, boros can only be in so many places at once.

Years of driving and riding should have taught you that snow means slow down.

I have had an accident myself which meant a happy insurance company as my premiums rose.

honestly if you want to complain about penndot why dont you hook a snow plow to your truck or four wheeler and work on plowing it yourself. the snow plow workings have worked their butts off to get these roads clear. they cannot be everywhere at once. drivers need to take caution when driving and as this woman was taking caution accidents happen. slush is not friendly. so instead of sitting in front of your computer screen all day go out and help remove some of the snow before you complain.

if all of you who are collecting a welfare check from the state would take a snow shovel and start working for that check, the roads would be clear.

I hate to tell someone there a lier but 872 was plowed 3 times before midnight get right facts before post lies

leave penn dot alone, accidents happen weather people drive slow or not, and good going Kightlingers another job done well....

8:29 You are so so right. They need to get out and blow the stink off them and get some fresh air and see what it is like to have to work. We should not have to shovel snow or pick up garbage along the highways. They need to stand there in the hot sun flagging traffic but they probably couldn,t pass a drug test or an IQ test.

Instead of bashing those that are on welfare, try praying for them or try helping them to better themslves, prayer never hurt anyone but helps! The system encourages them to collect assistance so they can keep their own jobs!

All the praying in the world won't help those who believe it is their GOD given right to live, breed and die on welfare.
