Rebert Gets Life in Prison

Rebert Gets Life in Prison

Steven Rebert will spend the rest of his life in prison instead of being put to death for killing Wayne and Vicky Shugar in their Brockway home in April of 2010.

A jury deliberated until about 9 o’clock Friday night and could not come up with a unanimous decision, which is necessary for the death penalty to be imposed. Eight jurors voted for the death sentence; four voted against it.

The 46-year-old Emporium man is still a person of interest in the murders of Kevin Smith and Bill Fickel in Western New York. Rebert, at one time, lived near the men.

The news leader of the Twin Tiers ...

Fabulous another person in the system for me to support. With the luxuries that I work hard to give my family. Free cable, a free education, three square meals a day, medical care. All at our expense. Why is it so hard for people to just get rid of the trash. I don't care if he had family, so did the Shugars. They won't get to see their family anymore, why should a piece of trash like this get to see his? Wake up people he should have been put to death!

The Jurors that voted it down are probably Pro Abortion but anti putting some scum bag who should have been aborted to death.
