Ardyce N. Burdick, 81, of, Smethport, PA

Smethport. - Ardyce N. Burdick, 81, of, Smethport, went home to be with the Lord on Friday (February 10, 2012) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford.

She was born Dec 19, 1930 in Farmers Valley, a daughter of Benjamin Booth and Audrey Mina Weimer Bickford, On April 15, 1950, in Farmers Valley, Pa, she married Kenneth C. Burdick, who died March 1, 2011.

Mrs. Burdick was a 1948 graduate of Smethport High School and was Valedictorian that year

Mrs. Burdick devoted her entire life to her family

She was a member of the Christian Gospel Church of Coleville and worked as a waitress at The Dairy Bar in Farmers Valley.

She is survived by

Four daughters: Doris (Manley) Brown of Eldred, PA, Alice (Gerald) Vaughn of Eldred, PA, Onalee (Richard) Scherer of Bradenton, FL, Barbara (Wilbur) Roberts of Eldred, PA

Two sons: Jeffrey (Patricia) Burdick of Bradenton, FL, Alan "Satch" Burdick of Bradenton, FL

15 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren

One sister: Beverly (Ernest) Reed of Lewis Run, PA

Two sister-in-law, Roberta Bickford and Mary Bickford both of Smethport, PA. Several beloved nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers, Ivan, Clayton “Bud”, Galen “Buck”, and Benjamin “Dean” Bickford

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012 at 11:00AM in the Christian Gospel Church of Coleville, with the Rev Thomas Dunkerton, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Farmers Valley.

Memorials may be made to McKean County Hospice and VNA, 1223 East Main Street, Bradford, PA 16701 or the charity of the donor's choice
