Gloria P. Langianese, 81, of Bradford, PA

Gloria P. Langianese, 81, of Bradford, PA, passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

She was born on May 22, 1930 to King and Florence Wylam Douthit.

On March 17, 1951, Gloria married Michael J. Langianese, Jr. who survives.

Gloria lived in Bradford throughout her life, and was a graduate of the Bradford Area High School.

Gloria co-owned and operated her family business; Bradford City Beers in Bradford, with her husband Michael J. Langianese, Jr.

Gloria was an avid golfer and organ player. Gloria was a member of the Pine Acres Ladies Golf League and a volunteer at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Gloria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family dearly and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband of sixty years, Michael J. Langianese, Jr., Bradford, she is survived by her five children, Joseph “Butch” Langianese, Bradford, Mollyjo Langianese-Colestro, Ellicottville, NY, Tina Slaven, Bradford, Toni Ann (Tom) Vickery, Bradford, Michael “Pink” (Karen) Langianese, III, Bradford, twelve grandchildren, Dennis (Linda) Hannon, Ransomville, NY, Jamie (Jarod) Kemper, Cranberry, PA, Joe Colestro, Olean, NY, Kara Vickery, Saint Marys, PA, Taylor and Tate Slaven, Emilee, Heather, and Holly Vickery, Sammi, Ryleigh and Mikiah “Mikey” Langianese, all of Bradford and three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Wes and Grace Hannon of Ransomville, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, King and Florence Douthit.

At the family’s request there will be no visitation, there will be a private funeral service conducted at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, February 19, 2012, with the Rev. W. Leroy Beckes, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Entombment will be in the St. Bernard Mausoleum.
