Good for Trooper Lemaire! Driving drunk is stupidity, I don't care how many you've drank or how good you are. You're risking the lives of many people. I wish the punishment was harsher though!

Holy cow. All these people from Coudersport in one month. Didn't any of the Coudersport residents tell these people that this charge was out of line? I wonder if they too have relatives in Austin?

Anonymous said...

ironic that all were stopped by the same trooper.

rookie cop trying to make name for himself

WHAT??? THESE PEOPLE AREN'T FROM AUSTIN!!!! I thought that we were the only ones around that even went out for a drink let alone get a DUI!!!

Looks like Tpr Lemaire is on the ball. Good work.

I'll bet with these (3) arrests this puts Coudy ahead of Austin BIG TIME.

First of all how can you drive erratically in the parking lot at sheetz in the parking lot? Secondly he told Ms. Austin it was because she was going 42 in a 40. Nothing about erratic driving. Who is this trooper and why is he being such a hero. Targeting local legal businesses to get brownie points/ I don't think it is entirely legal the way he is going about things.

WHAT>>>DUI's in Coudy and not Austin.. so no nasty comments from the peanut gallery??? If these people were from Austin there would have been dozens of comments...

You will NEVER catch Austin we have our pride! GO AUSTIN ! GO AUSTIN!

Anonymous said...

Shame on you people..who cares what town these people are caught in...or by what trooper. They were breaking the law. What would you say if some of your family was hurt or killed by these drunks..so think hard before writing these STUPID remarks.

Anonymous said...

Go Austin! Be proud that you have it over Coudy by a "DAM SITE"...lol

if people would obey the laws, we wouldn't need cops/police & we would lower our taxes and put millions in taxpayers pockets each year

Why are the state police now patrolling the side streets of Coudy, which should be Coudersport Borough police jurisdiction? Are they patrolling the side streets of every other Potter County town?

Anonymous said...

Just maybe they know something you don't. Sucks to be you now doesn't it?

Anonymous said...

Rumor has it that the state police don't think Coudy's town police are doing their jobs. That's why you're seeing so many state troopers around

9:43, you are wrong.

If everyone were to abide by the law to the letter, police would be unhappy with the number of arrests and magically the law would become more strict.

Just like what happened when they took the previous legal limit (which nothing was wrong with) and cut it in half so they could nab more drivers.

This isn't about safety, its about politics and revenue.

The biggest mistake you can make in this country is to think the police are on your side.

They aren't, they are on their own side with their own motivations and reasons for what they do. They aren't there to serve and protect you, the only interests on their mind at any given time is their own.

They just sugar coat it all with "community safety" or some such popular sentimental crap (like "protecting the children") so it's easier for you to swallow every time they make those laws a little stricter and cast their net a little wider.

3:17, I agree! The problem is that folks don't realize that the purple people eater is very real. Plus, when police get their badge they take the oath of Clint Eastwood, not Chuck Norris.

Imagine that people...NOT Chuck Norris.

Last, if we are going to believe that 3:17 is wrong, we must also believe that Law Enforcement hasn't already found big foot and claimed him to be not only DUI but also a felon...think about it!!

I wish the state police would come to Austin all the time then everything that happens here wouldn't get coverd up!

i don't swallow anything 314 i believe in you,

We have one of the nicest and respectable State Police and Local Police Force in the State here in Potter County and they are doing a Heck of a nice Job.

Are you kidding? Erratic driving in Sheetz parking lot? How can someone who is pumping gas be driving erratically? I bet the State Police didn't and won't admit Ms. Nelson wasn't DUI and that they actually brought her back to her car and told her to have a good night. These police are out of control, pulling people over for their bullsh*t reasons (snow on plates, lights out).

Anonymous said...

well if you were a smart one you would realize that that is wher ehe made the stop. clearly she must have been driving erratically before that for her to get pulled over in a parking lot.

Exactly!!! I know Trooper lemaire personally and he is a good guy!
