Joan M. Coronati, 76, of 368 Kane Street, Wilcox, formerly 27 High St., Bradford, passed away, Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at Kane Community Hospital.

Born August 10, 1935, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Hamilton) Grubb.

On April 23, 195 in St. Francis Church before Monsignor G. Carlton Ritchie she married Adelio "Sonny" Coronati who died November 12, 1999.

Mrs. Coronati attended Bradford Area Schools. She enjoyed baking, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Bernard Church.

She had worked at the candy counter at Shays & McKean Theaters, as a X-ray technician in the Bradford Hospital, and as a nursing assistant for local area families.

Surviving are three children; one daughter, Theresa Coronati of Bradford; two sons Anthony (Diane) Coronati of Sidney, OH; and James (Kimberlin) Coronati of Wilcox; a sister, Lois (Tom) Pessia of Bradford, four grandchildren; Mike Coronati, Jennifer Gockley, David McGarry and Stephanie Coronati, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters; Marilyn Chiodo and Linda Miller.

At the family's request there will be no visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the directions of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
