To Fill A Backpack Raffle

To Fill A Backpack Raffle

The To Fill A Backpack program is having its first fund raiser of 2012. We are selling raffle tickets through June 6th that will give you 10 chances to win some Spring Fling cash. One ticket will be drawn daily for the cash amount shown. The last ticket will be drawn on June 16th at our "All Invited Chicken BBQ" to be held at the Roulette Chamber of Commerce park located along Route 6 in Roulette. Tickets can be purchased by sending a check, cash or money order to To Fill A Backpack - Attn: Raffles - 81 Burleson Avenue - Roulette, PA 16746. Tickets are $1.00 each and you must be 18 years of age to purchase tickets.

The BBQ will begin at 12 noon and go until 5pm and is free of charge (donations will gladly be accepted). We ask that anyone attending bring a dish to pass if possible (in a disposable dish or well marked container) and enjoy dinner on the Backpack program. We will supply the chicken and baked beans along with drinks (no alcohol allowed), silverware, plates and napkins. We would appreciate if you are attending that you send us an email to info@tofillabackpack.org or give us a call (814-544-2612) and let us know how many will be attending. We want to be sure that we have enough chicken for everyone and to also give us an idea of how much silverware, etc. will be needed.

The Backpack program is headed in to its 5th year and we keep growing bigger every year. We started out in 3 towns and now distribute in 4 different counties which includes over 20 towns. With the continued support of our local communities we can continue to grow and help more children. The Backpack program is now a 501(c)3 organization so all donations made are tax deductable. Thank you again for the continued support and hope that we can count on your support in the future.
