David E. Pennell, Sr., 62, of 10 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, PA

David E. Pennell, Sr., 62, of 10 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, passed away Thursday, July 5th, at The Pavilion at BRMC surrounded by his loving family.

Born April 29, 1950 in Cuba, NY he was a son of the late Daniel G. and Marilynne (Blackmon) Pennell. Mr. Pennell was a 1969 graduate of Salamanca High School.

On October 3, 2000 in Salamanca he married Tammy L. (Harvey) Pennell who survives him.

He worked in various capacities in the Hardwood Lumber Industry and was a gifted carpenter. He was last employed at Salamanca Lumber retiring due to his illness.

Mr. Pennell was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife Tammy of 12 years, and two sons David (Jill) Pennell, Jr., of Salamanca, Dillon (Kaylle) Pennell, of Bradford,10 grandchildren, one sister, Cheri Pennell, of Enoch, UT, three brothers, Terry (Helena) Pennell, of Killbuck, Daniel (Cindy) G. Pennell, of Little Valley, and Scott (Annabelle) Pennell, of Claymont, DL and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter Tiffany Rose Pennell.

At the family's request there will be no visitation. Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of family in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. Memorials if desired may be made to the American Lung Association.
