Wellsboro, PA - Looking for a great way to enjoy Pennsylvania waterways with your family? Come join us and discover the fun kayaking can provide for the entire family. Hills Creek State Park will be hosting a PA Fish and Boat Commission Family Paddling program on August 12th , from 3p.m. – 5p.m. The program is a 2 hour program designed for participants ages 12 and older. Younger ages will be considered on a case-by-case basis. It will begin with on-land instruction and end with on water paddling experience.

The program will introduce your family to the basics of kayaking and the fun you can have when paddling together. All equipment is provided! Your family will learn about water safety, equipment needed, basic paddling techniques and will have the opportunity to paddle a portion of Hills Creek lake while discovering fascinating features the park has to offer through a presentation provided by Hills Creek State Park staff.
