Your Help Needed Please!

On Saturday, October 5th during this year’s Falling Leaves Festival the Potter County Animal Response Team (Potter CART) will once again sponsor the Pet Parade.

To learn more about Pennsylvania’s CARTS and keep in touch with their activities, go to and the Potter CART Facebook page at www.facebook/PotterCART

Last year was a great success despite the rain with pets ranging from dogs and cats to hermit crabs and a chicken.

New this year will be a Dog Wash offered by Potter CART volunteers as a fundraiser.
For the Pet Parade, the Potter CART is seeking donations to offer as prizes, for example…
  • Dog and cat toys
  • Little bags of treats for dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.
  • Small animal related gift baskets
  • Gift cards or gift certificates
For the Dog Wash, the team can use:
  • Lots of towels
  • Squirt bottles or empty dish detergent bottles
  • Small rugs
  • Leashes, leads and muzzles
  • Carabiner clips, spring links, or 2-ended snap hooks
  • Several hair dryers
  • Re-sealable small bags of dog treats
  • Several tables that can get wet
  • Large wash basins
  • Small tubs, totes, etc.
Monetary donations are always appreciated.

The Potter CART wishes to thank local groomers’: Lori White, Theresa Denhoff, & Deb Weaver for generously donating dog shampoo and a gift certificates.
