Joan Elaine Miller, 56, formerly of Limestone, NY

Joan Elaine Miller, 56, formerly of Limestone, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at her residence in Dandridge Tennessee.

Born February 7, 1956 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of the late John Earl Russell, Sr. and Elaine Patricia (Chilson) Russell.

She was a 1975 graduate of Coudersport High School and attended Olean Business Institute.

While residing in the area, she was employed at Powell's Pharmacy, Jubilee Foods and The Bradford Manor.

She was a longtime member of the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She was a huge Beatle's fan as well as being a devoted and lifelong Buffalo Bills fan.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy Miller-Fink of Bradford; two grandchildren, Sarah and Dakota, both of Bradford; three brothers, Jeff Russell of Port Allegany, John Russell, Jr. of Virginia and Jim Russell of Albuquerque, NM and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean E. Russell and a brother Jerry Russell.

At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Raymond Cemetery in Raymond.

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the American Heart Association or The Coudersport Library.

Local arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
