State Police are looking for the owner of found property that was recovered Thursday on the Old Bradford Road in Hamlin Township, McKean County.

Unbelievable!!! So many "other" things this Trooper could be investigating and he's all bent out of shape over a stupid tent! What a waste of taxpayer dollars! If I were his supervisor, I believe that we would be having a little chat...just saying.

WTF! 9:32am. You must really have a problem with the police. Did you ever wonder if the tent was actually lost and found and they are trying to return it to the owner? I am guessing it is a portable blind. Lots of hunters using them today. They can be expensive.

Your comment is just ridiculous.

No, I have a problem with any government agency, state or federal, getting caught up in petty stuff, when there are so many much more serious things worth investigating. If you had half a brain, you would realize that any property that was set up as a blind was probably done so with the permission of the property owner, so it would make sense to leave it alone. If it was set up without permission, the owner isn't about to confess to trespassing, so it wouldn't be worth investigating from that standpoint either. You really should think things through before you show your lack of intelligence!

Time wasted?!

The ten min. it's took to type up the news release to notify the public is just shameful.

You're a moron 12:28!

This isn't an investigation, it's a public service.

It was found along the ROAD. Removed I'm sure to prevent an accident and now rightfully so they are looking for the owner.

Well said 3:11pm. I couldn't have done any better. You hit the nail on the head.

11:48am...

12:28 doesn't know how to read that it was found along side of the road not set up as a blind for a hunter. So it stands to reason their irrational take on this news report.

no, you all got it wrong

it probably had a joint in it and now they are hoping to reel in the owner to make the crime bust of the year, nay, THE DECADE!

3:11, 6:03, and 7:01; I really shouldn't dignify your juvenile name-calling with a response, but in my defense for the referral to a hunter's blind, I was responding to the response by 11:24.

Secondly, if the police are looking for the owner, then that qualifies as an investigation, at least by the dictionary definition. You should really give some thought to your responses, as you all come off as juvenile and lacking of intelligence. Otherwise, its would seem better to not say anything at all, than to write more of the same and remove all doubt.

yep, the run away blind with magic pot. works every time!

Your first post was out of line so much that some name calling seemed needed.

To state that the Trooper was "bent out of shape," was made up by you. As well as your statement that the supervisor should have a "chat" with him.

The blind was along the road, this Trooper wasn't walking through the woods, found it and decided to look for the owner like you clearly thought.

The "investigation" you are so worked up about is exactly as 3:11 said. Ten min. to put it in the car, and ten min. to write a news release to LOOK FOR THE OWNER. The same that would be done with a bike, abandoned car, dog, and the rest of the list of property that is found along the road.

Blinds aren't cheap, I'm sure the owner would appreciate an attempt to return his property to him.

You need to read what is being written and rather than throw a hissy about facts you make up or assume out of ignorance get a grip and understand all the duties law enforcement is asked to do! Even if in your wisdom you deem them a "waste."

Persoanlly, I think it's a waste of time for them to write me a speeding ticket, but hey...it's their JOB.

investigate: to examine, study, or inquire into systematically; search or examine into the particulars of; examine in detail.

That's your opinion, pal! And, after serving my country for 21 freaking years of honorable service including two wars, I'd say that qualifies me to voice mine. Now, shoot your cyber mouth off some more; after all, it's your right; paid for in blood. And, don't you ever forget that!

7:37pm,

I don't care who you are and what you have done. One thing for sure is that you are certainly out of control! Good luck to you. Don't pop a vein in your head... Well, maybe you should.

you have a few screws loose 7:37!

I also served this Country and just like you I am entitled to my opinion about your opinion.

None of which has anything to do with the article at hand...

i dont get it, why would a blind hunter be smoking a joint in the road with a soldier???
