Ronald K. Schillinger, 67, of 7 Burnside Ave Bradford, PA

Ronald K. Schillinger, 67, of 7 Burnside Ave Bradford, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital, in Erie after a brief illness.

Born on February 25, 1945, in Bradford he was a son of the late Lawrence and Luella A. (Willis) Schillinger.

On December 30, 1987 in Bradford he married Marlene (DiProspero) Davis Schillinger who survives.

He was a 1963 graduate of Bradford High School. On September 2, 1965 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and serving during Viet Nam and was honorably discharged August 18, 1967.

He was employed as a tool & die maker at Zippo Mfg. for 44 years.

He was a member of the VFW, Eagles, American Legion and Moose. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Janelle Shikoski, of Wolford City, ND, two sons Mike (Amy) Schillinger, of Virginia Beach, Brian (Mikki) Schillinger, of Bradford, two step sons Matthew Davis, of Bradford, Eric (Christen) Davis, of Bradford, a brother, William (Emma) Schillinger, of Marshburg, ten grandchildren, Mitchell Schillinger, Joshua Schillinger, Stephanie Schillinger, Audrey Shikoski, twins Elsa Sprague and Mara Sprague, Tyler Davis, Anthony Davis, and twins Lauryn Davis, Lydia Davis, two step grandchildren, Eve and Myra Baker, three nieces.

There will be no public visitation. Friends will be invited to a celebration of Ron's life at a later date and time to be announced. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.

Memorials if desired may be made to the donor's choice.
