Loving mother, grandmother and daughter

Anne M. Rogers, 50, Eldred, PA, formerly of Duke Center, passed away Sunday (January 20th. 2013) at the residence of her mother after a seven year battle with cancer.

Born June 22nd, 1962 in Olean she was a daughter of William and Kathryn Dennis Schwab.

Anne attended Upper Perkiomen High School in Pennsburg, PA. She had resided in East Greenville, PA and Duke Center before moving to Eldred in 2010.

Mrs. Rogers was employed by Redner’s Warehouse Market in Red Hill, PA for over 20 years. She was later employed by Buchanan Brothers Pharmacy in Eldred for the past two years.

She was a member of the Duke Center United Methodist Church.

Anne loved being with her children and grandchildren as they were her life.

Surviving is her mother, Kathryn Schwab of Duke Center; two sons, Patrick (Paige) Rogers Jr. of Boyertown, PA and Steven (Elizabeth) Rogers of Topton, PA; two daughters, Jessica (Matthew) Heayn of Hatfield, PA and Kelly Knight of Eldred; twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Jeffery (Kim) Schwab of Duke Center and William (Melisa) Schwab of Titusville, PA; one sister Lori (Donald) Henderson of Hazen, PA.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Schwab in 2005.

Friends may call Tuesday (January 22nd, 2013) at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am at the Duke Center United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Henderson and Pastor Gary Sheesley, co-officiating. Burial will follow in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the McKean County VNA and Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
