Bradford Regional Airport awarded a $1.1 million state grant

The Bradford Regional Airport was awarded a $1.1 million state grant to construct and expand its multi-tenant facilities. The grant comes from the Capital Budget/Transportation Assistance Program and is aimed at boosting the state's multi-modal transportation system.

Gee thanks Marty. The Airport needs expanding, we wouldn't want the gas execs to fly into an a small airport.

Now,could you please remind us why
the Oswayo fish hatchery (stocking since 1968) is closing?

Hmmm

Great, Marty! Now, will you please respond to all of the teachers that have contacted you in regards to pension reform. Being a state worker, you should be affected by this reform too. Oh wait....

Amenities for the gas execs?
Oh that's silly they fly into PA to fish!

Paying to have a fish hatchery operate to stock fish is similar to stocking pheasants. It is a big, fat waste of taxpayer and license purchaser money. Get out of the 70's people!!! The amount of people that actually fish streams has steadily declined over the years and the fish die.

The trouble with the internet is that it gives the 2% malcontents a voice that would otherwise go unheard.

A lot of people that work out of Coudersport fly in and out of Bradford. I always thought the facilities were OK for the number of people that were there.

The problem there is more than once delayed flights have screwed up the rest of a trip because you miss your connections due to the late flights in and out of Bradford. I can also think of more than one occasion that driving back from Cleveland was required if you wanted to get back in a timely manner because of flight delays due to mechanical problems etc.

What is needed there are more reliable flights in and out from the carriers. People are starting to drive to other airports because of the service that they are getting in Bradford. I realize the commercial flights aren't the only business there but it probably an important aspect of things.

You can have the nicest facility there is but if some of the people flying in and out of there on a regular basis go somewhere else that is a problem. My point is that I think that place has other problems that probably need to be addressed first.

8:35:00 AM I agree, we don't need trout anymore.
Anglers don't bring a fraction of the money into the area as the gas execs do!
Marty ....keep on funding things that keep the gas execs happy!

The 9 people laid off from the Hatchery... can be trained to work at the frack waste facility.

I can't believe you idiots are pissed off at Marty for doing what he can in getting good things done in the area. Poor hunting and fishing in the area isn't Marty's fault try bitching to the fish and game commission. Keep up the good work Marty bringing good things to us!
