Really feeling bad about this piece of history going missing. Sometimes road signs have become part of someone's room decor (been there, done that) but this was a historical sign. I hope whoever took it, thinks about this and returns it. They can even drop it off at my house and I will return it..no questions asked by me.

I read meters in that area so I will keep my eyes peeled. Might want to keep an eye on Craig's List. Probably some one took it for their camp. I see all kinds of signs that people put around their camps that obviously were taken from somewhere. Good luck.

I've driven by that sign every day on my way to work for years. Sorry to hear it was stolen. Will keep my ears and eyes open. I am very sad about this as my family has lived nearby on Four Mile Woods Rd. in Village of Alma for decades.

Someone took this because they saw dollar signs!!Highly collectable and worth a pretty penny!Especially this one!!Will keep a watch out for it!

I'd check the local scrap yards too. Probably someone trying to make a quick buck. BTW...what kind of siding is on the building in the background?

My whole life all I ever heard was my dad saying "what has this world come to?" and I just thought he was an old fogey. Now I hear my self saying it all the time. Dad was right. Hope you get your sign back.

who the heck steals historical markers? It must be a crime to trade in them, so whoever buys it is also a criminal.

I can remember this sign as it has been there for years. My Dad used to let us stop in at the store there on Sundays for a treat before going home from seeing out grandparents that lived not far from the store. At that time it was Milton Loring's Store. Just a wonderful country store. I hope who ever stole this sign would please return it and not see what they can sell it for to make a buck.

Hello, I am the person who posted this, I had a man from the town of willing stop in Friday to let me know that they had the town meeting sign and it was not stolen, and what they were doing with it, was getting it restored, What a relieve!!! All i could think was that this great peice of history was sitting in a junk yard somewhere. I what to say thank you so much for the people who actually did search for this sign, it is greatly appreciated. I know how easy it is to jump to the wrong conclusion, thats why i decided three weeks ago to put this is gods hands to take care of, I didnt post this on solomen words, i posted to my facebook to my friends and someone else posted to here, but glad they did because now i know where it is, Again thank you vey much Bonnie Stebbins
