Potter County Conserviation District Reveals New Fee Schedule

New Chapter 105 General Permit Fees
Recently the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) announced the new Chapter 105 General Permit Fees. The Potter County Conservation District is under a delegation agreement with DEP to administer the Chapter 105 permitting program. All fees collected will be made payable to the Potter County Conservation District Clean Water Fund. 

Fees according to the permits that may be acknowledged by the District are as follows:

GP-1 Fish Enhancement Structures $50.00
GP-2 Small Docks and Boat Launching Ramps $175.00
GP-3 Bank Rehabilitation, Bank Protection and
Gravel Bar Removal $250.00
GP-4 Intake and Outfall Structures $200.00
GP-5 Utility Line Crossing $250.00
GP-6 Agricultural Crossings and Ramps $50.00
GP-7 Minor Road Crossings $350.00
GP-8 Temporary Road Crossings $175.00
GP-9 Agricultural Activities $50.00
All General Permits processed through the Potter County Conservation District will also include Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan Fees of $50.00. The new fees for GP's and E&S Plans will be effective on February 18, 2013. For more information please contact the Potter County Conservation District at (814) 274-8411 Extension 4.

The economy is in the crapper and they think we can get out of it buy raising the fees on the permits to do anything... Its goeeting so you don't own the land you rent it from the government and have to pay taxes and fees to do anything, its about time we stand up for our rights!
