Jean Double Anderson, 74, of 17 Abbott Rd., Bradford, PA

Jean Double Anderson, 74, of 17 Abbott Rd., Bradford, PA, passed away, Friday, March 15, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born March 28, 1938, in Bradford she was the daughter of the late Howard E. and Hazel V. (Shelgren) Double.

On November 24, 1962, in the First United Methodist Church in Bradford she married Kenneth A. Anderson who survives.

Mrs. Anderson was a 1956 graduate of Bradford High School and a 1958 graduate of Marjorie Webster Junior College in Washington, DC. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband of 50 years she is survived by two children, a son Martin J. Anderson of Pittsburgh and a daughter, Julie A. Franco, of Raleigh, NC, and one grandson, Nicolas Franco of Raleigh, NC.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 11:00 am to noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main Street where funeral and committal services will be held at noon with Rev Tom Verner, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
