Man Jailed In Thefts Of Batteries From Duffy, Inc.

A Smethport man has been charged with the theft of 35 batteries from Duffy Inc in East Smethport.

Nathan Kenneth Hoy, 23, of Smethport, PA, was determined by State Police to be responsible for the thefts that occurred  between April 13 and April 16, 2013. He was arrested on a felony arrest warrant by Trooper Jeffrey J. Walker and arraigned on April 18th before District Judge William Todd on the following charges:

Judge Todd set bail at $20,000. straight cash and Hoy was remanded to the McKean County Jail when he was unable to post bail. He will face a preliminary hearing set for April 25, 2013.
