Coudersport Area Recreational Park Restoration Continues

CARP park restoration is continuing today.

They will be prepping, placing lines, and coating the basketball and tennis courts.

Donations are also continuing to be accepted at the Borough office and Northwest Savings Bank for anyone wishing to contribute.

Additionally the rest room facilities will now be open at the pavilion while the park is open for all to use.

To The Boro Council. I Think now you should return all monies for rentals of the pavilion , IT IS NOT FAIR TOO THEM.. As a taxpayer of the boro I would like too understand your way of thinking. Some of the thing you are doing just does not make sense. I have been with the BORO for 20 years, This Council does nothing but spend Money.I dont think the Taxpayers of the Boro can take Four more years of this

This is not about the tennis court. Its about the PAVILION. The money that people pay to rent the pavilion for picnic , it should be return to them, they pay for the pavilion so its available for ther picnic . NOT FOR EVERYONE .... I do thank it is wounderful tennis court, This is ABOUT THE PAVILION.MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL GO TO THE NEXT COUNCIL MEETING SO WE CAN SEE WHERE OUR TAX PAYERS MONEY IS GOING...

I am very glad the bathrooms will be open and I am grateful to whomever made that happen. I have had to run my kids home from the playground on many occasions because they had to go to the bathroom.

I think the rental fee on the pavilion is more of a reservation/holding fee that guarantees you that the pavilion will be available on the date/time that you need it, not a fee to open the bathrooms. Many parks have open bathrooms (Sizerville, the park in St. Marys, to name a couple) that are free to the public and still charge a reservation fee for their facilities to be secured for private events.
