Farmer's Market Friday From 1 to 5 In Coudersport

      The Potter County Farmers' Market
will be open today (Friday, May 31) from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in its new location on the corner of North East and East Second Streets (Rt. 6E) in Coudersport.

Despite the frigid temperatures last week, four vendors offered a variety of home-made and home grown products. This week stop by and say hello as the weather promises to be much warmer.

Metzger Heritage Organic Farm: Baby beet greens, lettuce, rhubarb, Swiss chard, radishes, limited quantity of baby carrots, fresh herbs including parsley, cilantro, sage.

Card Creek Trading Post: Blue ribbon oatmeal brownies; old fashioned sugar cookies, biscotti, scones, artisan breads, eggs.

Granny's Corner: Spinach, leafy salad greens, kale.

McKeone Nursery: Assortment of fruit trees and vines.

1-5 on a Friday, a day that everyone who works, works!
These are ridiculous hours to have this, no wonder there's always an outcry for people to attend.
Please get some comon sense, about yourselves, whoever runs this, and change it to Saturday, with hours that make it accessible to families.

You are so right 9:24. I would love to buy those healthy foods but I work Fridays.I don't think the people are saying things to be negative They just would like to see the farmers market on a different day or time so they could buy some of that good healthy food. People need to chill and not spas out when they don't agree.Only trying to make a suggestion so the farmers market so they can sell more of their goodies.

I too wish that they would change their hours to Saturdays. I know they have a few Saturdays planned but...I also would love to get some of these goodies but...I work on Fridays!! It's the same in Wellsboro as well--only there on Fridays...Hopefully they will change to Saturdays!!
