wow. that will dissuade others from attempting to do the same. Has all decency left this nation? I hope not. It certainly does really seem like some individuals have little to almost no penalty for their choices and actions. It's a sad state of affairs.

10:36, I did read the whole article & I assume that you are getting at her pay the money back. She is supposed to pay $1.5+ million back. Do you really think it will get paid back? I hope it does but she is 51, 55 & jobless when she comes out of prison. Who is going to hire her? how is she going to get the money to pay it back?

Too bad this wasn't done for everyone that embezzled money! Some people just get a slap on the wrist. Some people think they just borrowed the money. Then all is swept under the rug and forgotten. The way I see it, if you do the crime you should do the time.

Yes, she needs to be held accountable for her crime, and she is going to do that. Yet we all have accountability for our actions and how we live our life. We are all bent toward sin due to our inborn sinful nature. We all need grace. Regardless of how "small" or "great" the sin is, it needs forgiven by a loving God who made every provision for that forgiveness by sending His Son to die and "take the blame" for us. Anyone who will, may receive that forgiveness. It's all there in the His written Word. No doubt about it, I have messed up and yes, have also suffered the consequences for my actions. I've had to learn that, although God will forgive and remove it from my "account", there are natural ramifications that stem from my choices. He gives the grace to deal with the bed we make for ourselves, but allows us to learn the hard most of the time!

Yepper you are right 1:51 & her IDOL was MONEY & she will pay the cosequences & she has to ask God to forgive her first for what she did & ask her employer to forgive her also all those involved that she has hurt especially family members, We all fall short of the glory of God & not one of us can cast the first stone at this lady!
