~Dave~

If I could talk to you one last time
I'd tell you so much..
Like how Ethan loves you more than any other
You always take the time to be a big part of his life
He notices and so do I
He says his grandpa dave is the smartest man alive
And you know what I think he's right
He will miss you and even in his sleep tonight he cries for you
His grandpa, his friend ...his hero!
Brooke always makes you laugh
You know she loves you so
You always have a smile and a wink to let her know
She says when she wants something she'll just ask her grandpa dave
When anything or anybody bothers her she always runs to you
Yes my kids know grandpa Dave's love is true
You've been with them all their life
How do I help others say goodbye to you
When I myself don't know how
You came into our life
When you made my mother your wife
She's never been so happy
I know I've thanked you often
But let me do it once more
Thank you dave, dad, grandpa and friend
We wish you were still here
And oh how we've all prayed
God please bring grandpa back...
Wake us from this day......
We love you and miss you so..

Thank you for sharing your love with my kids and my whole family
