Francis J. "Frank" Colligan, 87, formerly of Congress Street,Bradford, PA.

Francis J. "Frank" Colligan, 87, formerly of Congress Street, Bradford, PA.passed away, Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the Bradford Manor.

Born March 6, 1926, in Erie, he was a son of the late Francis H. and Frances M. (Fleming) Colligan.

Mr. Colligan was a graduate of St. Bernard School. On September 14, 1944 he enlisted in the United States Army Air Force, and served during WW II. He was honorably discharged on November 23, 1946. He had worked for the Home Service Loan Company for 27 years and then later as a broker for the Colligan Real Estate Agency.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the former Bradford Moose.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Joan Merriman, and Marjorie Slocum, three brothers, Thomas G. Colligan, John F. Colligan and James E. "Bim" Colligan.

At the family's request there will be no visitation. Friends will be invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at a later date to be announced. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes,
