Ag Sec. George Greig--Governor Corbett is leading PA on the Path To Prosperity

Message from George Greig
Secretary of Agriculture

“I believe in the future of agriculture, with a faith born not of words, but of deeds.”

That’s the beginning of the FFA Creed, and an idea that’s always stuck with me.

It’s also how Gov. Corbett is guiding our state. He and I believe in the future of PA, and we see its prosperity every day.

I see it in our strong ag industry – the state’s largest, and the cornerstone of our economy. Gov. Corbett sees it in the investments businesses are making in our communities, hiring workers and supporting families.

Since he took office, Gov. Corbett has made it his mission to ensure a job for every Pennsylvanian who wants one. This June, PA gained 19,100 jobs, the second-largest growth in employment in the country. We’ve added more than 130,000 private-sector jobs since Gov. Corbett took office and our unemployment rate is below the nat’l average. We’re still on that road to recovery, and the strength of our ag industry, plus Gov. Corbett’s actions to keep farmers farming, are leading the way.

Yes he also believes that if your cattle gets sick from poison frak water.Thats no big deal as the gas industry trumps agriculture by a long shot.He will end up being just like former gov. Ridge when he is out of office.A gas industry lobbyist making millions a year.

Honest to god, doubling down on this? What an asshole, or rather, a whole set of assholes we elected.
