Makes you wander how often incidents like this happen. This went on for a year and a half before he got caught. What about the poor people whom were in accidents needing pain medication! But instead were getting mostly saline solution.Boy sure could lead to some lawsuits for pain and suffering!

Such sad news to hear. Although I don't condone his actions, I can say that he was always caring and a very good medic when I worked with him. Hopefully he can receive help, and become a better person out of this situation.

Surehe was a caring person. Who isn't when they are all lubed up? This is not a caring person. Not at all.

Very sad situation for the patients that needed it at the time and for him who suffers a grave disease. he obviously needs some help with his addiction and hope he receives it. addiction is a very strong disease and nobody really understands it and people will go any length to get what they need. god bless

A "caring person" and "very good medic" does NOT intentionally allow suffering of trauma patients by providing them saline for pain relief while they are STEALING medication that is not theirs so they can greedily use it later. Not sure but aren't Insurance companies and sometimes welfare billed for care from ambulance transport and EMS care? If so, then is there a possibility that if these medications were billed for as part of that care, and not actually provided is also stealing and fraud? Just wondering about that. This individual is not caring

Wadda Dirtbag!!

Insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid pay a flat rate to ambulances for transport and care of patients regardless of what medications are used.

Addiction can make a person act like a dirtbag. That doesn't make him a dirtbag. As someone who is in recovery, I know this firsthand. I cringe when I think back on how I behaved while in active addiction. I can't speak for Mr. Landuyt, but I would bet that he is a caring person who would never even think of performing these acts without the monster of addiction driving him. Unless you've lived through it, you'll never understand it. I only hope & pray that he finds his way out of this nightmare and comes out stronger.

7:27PM said this - Addiction can make a person act like a dirtbag. That doesn't make him a dirtbag. As someone who is in recovery, I know this firsthand. I cringe when I think back on how I behaved while in active addiction.

One druggy defending another. He is a THIEF and a no good dirtbag. If you "cringe" thinking of what you did it kinda sounds "dirtbagish" to me. "In recovery" is just a crutch for people to use to try and explain away their bad choices. I hope he gets alot of years in prison to think about this. He has a choice to NOT take that first shot of drugs. Everything after that CAN NOT be blamed on the drugs themselves. Choices - the world is full of choices. This was not a mistake - this was an on purpose deliberate act to steal and put other's lives in jeopardy. This is the true classic definition of a dirtbag. I hope he rots in hell after he rots in jail. He took the public trust and laughed at it. He put liquid adhesive on the vile tops to glue caps on? This is the part the needle goes through to get the liquid inside. What chemicals are stuck to the needle that went into some trusting patient's arm? The bad part is this guy will end up being a reliefer when he gets out of prison. Nobody will hire an ex con who steals from work. Maybe he can use the "in recovery" excuse at the welfare office so good hard working folks can support him.

Hey 8:16:00 get a life I wish everybody were perfect like you "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" I'm sure you've never done anything wrong EVER you maybe hardworking but I doubt highly that you know anything about being a good person doctor's and scientists say this is a disease would you treat someone with cancer that way (in your case) maybe narrow mindedness is also sick think about it
