Potter County Fair Queen Candidates

Potter County Fair Queen

Three young ladies will be vying for the title of Potter County Fair Queen at the 77th Annual Potter County Fair. 

They include Hailey Brown, Hannah Greene and Catherine Kohl. Miranda Pesock will crown her successor on Thursday, August 1, at the Potter County Fair in Millport. The winner of the contest will represent Potter County at the 2014 Pennsylvania Fair Queen Contest.

Hailey Brown is the daughter of Jeff and Melinda Brown. She will be a senior this fall at Coudersport High School. Hailey is a member of the National Honor Society, French club, cross country team, and FFA where she is serving as secretary. Hailey is also president of her 4-H club. She has helped with several community service activities including the Special Olympics. Hailey plans to attend Wilson College after high school graduation and receive a degree in animal science. She enjoys showing her horse at the county, district and state levels.
Hannah Greene is the daughter of Bruce and Sheri Greene of Roulette. She is a recent graduate of the Hebron Center Christian School and plans to attend Maranatha Baptist Bible College this fall. Hannah is a member of the Crazy Critters 4-H group. She has participated in her schools basketball, volleyball, band, and yearbook programs. She has attended Regional and International Student Conventions of ACE for four years and has medalled in academics, music, and drama. Hannah has worked at the Port Allegany library as well as her parents camp.

Catherine (Catie) Kohl is the daughter of Mary Kohl of Shinglehouse. She has been a member of 4-H for nine years and is currently serving as vice-president of her club. Catie will be a senior this fall at Oswayo Valley High School where she participates in softball, FBLA,basketball and a member of the Mock Trial team. Her future plans are to attend college in the fall of 2014.

Make sure you attend the Potter County Fair to meet the candidates and see who will be the new Potter County Fair Queen.
