Police say a Tioga man acted recklessly when he allegedly left a quarter-stick of lit dynamite on a public roadway that exploded just as firefighters arrived to investigate.

Pennsylvania State Police say that around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Robert J. Rooks III, 28, took a quarter-stick of dynamite to the intersection of South Main Street and Aztec Lane in Tioga. Read more...

So how long was the wick on this thing that it didn't explode until firefighters arrived? Sounds like the media trying to make it sound more dramatic then it actually was

Is it against the law to put a quarter stick of dynamite in a public road? Did someone really ask that question? Of course it's against the law you knucklehead. Don't you think an explosion could be a distraction to someone who is operating a 2000 pound vehicle?
