Bonnie Mack Corcoran, 81, of North Warren, PA

Bonnie Mack Corcoran, 81, of North Warren, PA, died on Thursday afternoon, September 5, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Residence. Bonnie was a daughter of the late D.B. “Dude” and Vera C. Himebaugh Mack and a granddaughter of “Jake” and Cora Himebaugh and Philip and XXX Mack.

Bonnie was born in Warren, Pennsylvania on January 31, 1932. A 1949 graduate of Warren High School, she was proud to be a sixth-generation Warren Countian.

For many years, Bonnie was a legal secretary, employed by three generations of the Blackman and Blackman law firm in Warren. She was also employed by the PA Department of Welfare, a local insurance agency, and Ridg-U-Rack Corporation. She was a volunteer archivist at the Warren County Historical Society and assisted with the initial organization of the Wilder Museum in Irvine.

Bonnie was proud of her roots in the former community of Kinzua and was a collector of Kinzua and family history. She was an excellent seamstress and knitter, creating many custom-designed sweaters, and was an enthusiastic gardener. She loved her home on the Conewango and enjoyed years of bird-watching from her back yard.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Pat Evans, and her son-in-law, Mark Evans, of Warren. She is also survived by nieces, Sherri Lightner and her husband, Bruce, and Bonnie Cogan and her husband, Kenny Overmiller, all of the San Diego, California area. She is also survived by a great-nephew, two great-nieces, and her beloved cocker spaniel, Molly. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a great nephew, Mack Davis Lightner.

Visitation and a memorial service will be held at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church in Warren. Service details will be announced at a later date.

Those wishing to place memorials may do so with a charity of choice or to the Warren County Humane Society (Paws Along the River), Warren County Historical Society, or Hospice of Warren County.
