Children's Advocacy Center Assisted 83 Abused Children In It's First Year In McKean County

McKean County community,

In the last year, 83 abused children have walked through the door of the Children’s Advocacy Center of McKean County. And, while it is shocking to think of those numbers in our great community, I am so glad that we were there to help them find safety and healing while holding their abuser accountable.

The Center just turned 1; having opened our doors late October 2012. We want to thank you, the community, for supporting our efforts to help ensure that the children of McKean and surrounding counties receive treatment to begin the healing process. The goal and mission of every Child Advocacy Center is to support the victims, their families and the larger community by providing a coordinated investigation and comprehensive response to each child victim.

We are fortunate to be part of such a giving community that believes in putting the child first, above all else. The children of McKean County are our future and with your support you have given them a collective voice to heal and grow. Through your efforts and continued dedication to protecting the most vulnerable citizens of our community you have enabled our doors to remain open.
