Samuel C. Alexander, 83, of 665 Derrick Road, Bradford, PA

Samuel C. Alexander, 83, of 665 Derrick Road, Bradford, PA, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013, at his daughter's residence in Rixford.

Born May 17, 1930 in Bradford, he was a son of the late A.O. and Elinor (Meachem) Alexander.

On October 13, 1956, in Mayville, NY, he married Suzanne L. (Mount) Alexander who survives.

Mr. Alexander was a 1950 graduate of Bradford High School. He served his country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on July 29, 1953.

In addition to his wife Suzanne of 57 years, he is survived by three daughters, Diane (Mark) Burns, of Rixford, Lori (Arthur) Goodman, of Bradford, and Amy (Daniel) Williams, of Rixford, one brother, John Alexander, of Bradford, three sisters, Elinor Wasden, of AZ, Sally Burkett, of Derrick City, and Karen Calderwood, of Bradford, four grandchildren, Rachael (Ryan) Ours, Alexander Goodman, Samantha Williams, Sierra Williams and Brett Williams and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Mahlon, James, and Gerald "Meach" Alexander and one sister Molly McAndrews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
