CERES TOWNSHIP MEETING AGENDA Nov. 12, 2013

Meeting called to order by Neal. **Do PLEDGE**

Minutes REVIEWED from previous meeting. Motion made by Neal 2nd Gross to accept as read. -Yea vote.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Resident expressed concern about stone being placed on Taylor Brook/Jander Run for use by township; and was used in relation to church parking lot being washed out by township roads; resident was concerned stone would be used for private use.

OLD BUSINESS:
Eldred Boro $2000.00 bill for 2014 fire protection coverage: payment to be made in Jan. 2014 under new budget

NEW BUSINESS:
Reviewed tax assessments from county

PERMITS:
NONE

SUPERVISORS’ COMMENTS:
Supervisor Moyer expressed concern to relook at bonding permits for township: Excessive Road Maintenance agreement.
Supervisor Gross spoke with Frontier /FCC regarding Frontier bill; explained to taxpayers both Frontier and FCC will be sending him information.
Supervisor Gross expressed his thanks for all who voted


ROADMASTER
Keech Hollow pipe fix; Jander Run piping to be addressed. International fenders fixed. Equipment has been winterized. Eldred Township/Boro helped our township with equipment. Both sanders are running, GMC auger fixed, backhoe tires fixed, plows are running. Grader and Backhoe have been returned to LC Whitford.
Three NO winter maintenance signs need replaced; expressed his wish to move no maintenance sign lower on Hanson Hollow. Second area for moving no maintenance sign is in area of Kings Run/Taylor Brook.
When berm cutting begins we will need places to unload dirt; suggested resident on Jander Run may be interested. Supervisor Gross announced if anyone wants or knows someone or places to utilize dirt to let township know.

Bills REVIEWED. Motion made by Neal, 2nd Gross to pay bills.

Is Hanson Hollow also known as Slippery Elm?

Am I reading this wrong? Is the resident concerned that the gravel was used at the church parking lot for the church ? If that is the what is being said then maybe said gravel needs to be placed elsewhere along with the equipment that sat there day after day.
