Coudersport Mayor Wick Furman Retiring After 16 Years On The Job

Mayor Fredrick "Wick" Furman left and incoming Mayor Brenda Whitman.
Outgoing Mayor "Wick" Furman serves incoming Mayor Brenda Whitman a slice
of his retiring cake, that was presented to him at his last Borough
Council meeting. "Wick" wished Whitman the best and told the Borough
Council and all in attendance that it was an honor and a privilege to
serve as Mayor for the past 16 years.

Officer Bill Wenzel left and Chief Lee Gross Right presented the Mayor
with a chiming clock at the Mayors last Council meeting on Dec. 18th 2013.
Mayor Furman spoke of some of the accomplishments of his career and
thanked all the Police, Council, and Solicitor Dan Glassmire for their
help over the years.
