Frederick J. Losinger, 74, of Rattler Road, Wellsboro, PA died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. 

He was the husband of Evelyn L. VanVliet, whom he married on September 17, 1966.
Frederick was born on December 18, 1939, in Delmar Twp., the son of the late Kenneth and Caroline (Smith) Losinger. 

He was a graduate of Wellsboro High School with the Class of 1957. Frederick was a
US Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the former Borden Milk Plant, Wellsboro, PA. 

He was a member of Draper Baptist Church. Fred had a passion for vegetable
gardening. In addition he enjoyed fishing and hunting. 

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Losinger; son, Jack Losinger; daughter, Kimberly Deats; all of Wellsboro, PA. Six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Marilyn Losinger, Wellsboro, PA and his sister, Carolyn May Losinger, Wellsboro, PA. Several nieces and nephews. 

Friends and family are invited to Frederick’s Life Celebration on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 2-3 PM, funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM, at Draper Baptist Church, 22 Draper Road, Wellsboro, PA 16901, with Pastor Ronald Hagy officiating. Burial in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. 

Local arrangements by Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, “A Life Celebration Home”, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA. Memorials may be made in Frederick’s name to Draper Baptist Church.
