These are just the REPORTED/documented violations. All pipelines and all fracking wells leak. Some leak worse than others. ALL are highly destructive to human & wildlife health. All contribute to irreversable environmental destruction.Have you personally seen the "jobs" created for local people or boosts in local economy? No. These guys travel about with their travel trailors not benefitting local hotels or eaterie's but buy all supplies at Walmart & cause problems/violence in local taverns and harass & sometimes assault the local women. WHO benefit's from fracking?

I don't know WHAT ROCK YOU ARE LIVING UNDER!! But I know A LOT of people who have very good paying decent jobs for which they do work hard but are paid well for it. Mechanics who work 6 or 7 days/week if they choose. Service facilities who sell tires, oil, fuel, filters, parts etc. to these "bad" guys. These same workers are buying new or newer vehicles, they buy RVs, boats, hunting, fishing equipment etc. Irreversible damage? from a pit that wasn't properly I'D? What was the residual waste? a rag? or two possibly? I am sure as a producer, you see the DEP as overbearing, as a citizen, I'm glad they are there. I am sure there is some common ground there between them. The DEP personnel HAVE to find something wrong and write it or they aren't justifying their existence.

As far as the problems with the workers: I would blame that on the gubmint, They allow alcohol sales for one reason only! The almighty tax dollars! What does alcohol cost our society from the court systems to alcoholics to domestic violence, McKean County has the highest child placement rate in PA, McKean County also has the highest alcoholism rate in PA, Do you think there is a correlation? Does the money spent in social services and the penal system due to alcohol abuse equal the tax revenue from alcohol sales? I'll bet not!
Don't blame the oil field drilling, fracking and production on the social ills in our area, blame the alcohol sales which is sponsored and supported by YOUR government! purely for the tax revenue!!
Oh by the way, do you heat your home with cherry seeds? Hand picked and pitted too, right? No nat. gas, no fuel oil, no coal, no propane. If you use wood you cut it with a hand saw? split it with an ax? You do get around solely on a bicycle with nothing related to petroleum, as in the plastics?, tires? The steel frame on the bike was made from iron ore, that was hand dug, correct? transported how? melted how? surely you don't rely totally on WAX candles for light in your electricity free home? that paraffin wax comes from....ugh...oil!! You can't have it both ways, you use petroleum products, you have to put up with unidentified water pits!
