2 Car Crash With Entrapment On Rt. 417
At 3:10 PM on Thursday, Wellsville & Scio Fire & EMS to a 2 car motor vehicle crash on Rt. 417 near County Road 9 with injury & entrapment.

REPORT 4 TOTAL PATIENTS 

ROUTE 417 IS CLOSED BOTH WAYS AT THIS LOCATION BETWEEN WELLSVILLE & ALLENTOWN. 

Amity-based state police said a Wellsville woman was in critical condition tonight at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a two-vehicle collision just after 3 p.m. on state Route 417 in Scio. The woman was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Lyle Slingerland, 86, of Wellsville. State police said the other vehicle involved was driven by Andrew Feenaughty, 16, of Allentown. 

The accident was called in at 3:08 p.m.

Slingerland was taken to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville. State police said they were not sure whether he had been released Thursday. State police said Feenaughty suffered a shoulder injury. He and a passenger, Jessica Williamson, 16, of Allentown, who state police said complained of pain, were taken to Jones Memorial. No tickets were issued Thursday night, but the investigation continues, state police said. Part of Route 417 may still have been shut down as of 9:30 p.m., state police said.
