Beverly Ann Bickford, 66, of Galeton, PA

Beverly Ann Bickford, 66, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014, at her home. 

Born May 21, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late James and Marie E. (Still) Booth, Jr. 

Bev was a 1966 Graduate of the Bensalem High School and a member of the Pine Creek Valley United Methodist Church. She worked for many years as an office manager for Equifax in Florida. She also worked at the Coach Stop Inn, the Pine Creek Inn, and was part owner and worked at the Family Affair in Gaines. 

Bev enjoyed puzzle books, reading, crafts, cooking, visiting with her many friends, and taking cruises. She also enjoyed collecting dolls and red Avon glassware. 

Surviving are two brothers, James (Maria) Booth, III, Troy, IL and William W. Booth, Coudersport, PA; one niece, Michelle (Raymond) Smith, St. Jacob, IL; one nephew; Daniel Booth, Troy, IL; two great nieces; Kira Settingsgaard and Madison Booth; three great nephews, Maverick Booth and Cody and Connor Smith; one great great nephew, James Settingsgaard; and a cousin that she raised, Russell Penn. 

In Addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her husband Gary Bickford and a cousin Ted Penn. 

Friends may call on Friday, February 21, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Galeton, and on Saturday, February 22, 2014, from 3:00 to 3:30pm at the Pine Creek Valley United Methodist Church in Gaines. Funeral Services will follow at 3:30pm with the Rev. Steve Saurman officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, Pa. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Children Hospital or to St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.
