I-180 Work-Zone Traffic Impacts for March 3-7

I-180 Work-Zone Traffic Impacts for March 3-7

Weather permitting; the contractor working on Interstate 180 in Northumberland and Lycoming counties will have daylight work-zone traffic patterns in place next week, March 3-7.

Lane restrictions using traffic cones will be in effect in both directions from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday between Exit 5 (Turbotville) and Exit 10 (Muncy – Main Street).

The traffic patterns will be changing within the daytime hours to accommodate the work progress.

The contractor will be hauling rock into the median area to stockpile, installing erosion and sedimentation control measures, trimming trees, installing rock construction entrances and installing protective fence for next week’s work.

Motorists are advised to stay alert to the changing work-zone traffic patterns between Exits 5 and 10 on I-180 next week.
