How do you heat your home? How to you transport? You use petroleum product. Have a nice day

You Frackers need to get real!

YES, we heat, use and depend upon gas and oil for our daily lives. HOWEVER, they are destroying OUR state and KILLING our people so foreign countries can enjoy OUR gas without destroying their country and killing their people.

RESEARCH you say. Well, if you dig a bit further you will see how fast and furious they are shipping the gas out of the US, to places like Japan and soon, the Ukraine area.

Nothing like wasting the time of all the emergency personnel that could be better serving people in need. I hope they hang these douchey, time wasting morons!

I would have found them I would have moved them and the pipe off the road left them there overnight, and seen how that worked out for them.

Poster 11:12....you are wrong. Here is an excerpt from american Progress.org. "The United States is currently a net importer of natural gas, but the recent expansion in shale gas production is changing that. As the United States’ natural gas supply has grown, net imports have been on a downward trend. In 2012, for example, net imports decreased by 23 percent, reaching their lowest point since 1990. The United States is now expected to be a net exporter of natural gas by 2020."

Thousands of soldiers died to protect America's
interests in the middle east.  That interest is the
oil/energy.  When America becomes energy
independent, the "interest" in the middle east lessens
The need to die for foreign oil lessens.

How far would YOU personally go to prevent the
death of thousands of soldiers?

Natural gas production is a key to energy independence.
But the production of the gas causes a few dozen
people to be inconvenienced.  Their water supply may
potentially become contaminated.  Worst case, those
families would face the inconvenienced of relocating.
Can we afford that inconvenience?  Or do we say "no"?
Do we prefer thousands of soldiers die rather than have
to be inconvenienced? On the one hand we praise the
sacrifice of the military, yet can not bare to suffer any
degree of sacrifice on our part.

What's YOUR sacrifice?

11:12 PM That makes you just as guilty as the drillers! I think the protesters should be billed for all of the emergency service peoples time !

Is anyone going to mention to 11:12 that US exports of natural gas are currently restricted by our government. 4.4 billion cubic ft a day. Even if all export applications were approved it would be 6 billion by 2020. As a point of reference russia is exporting 20 billion a day now. 11:12 your argument as it relates to shipping our gas to other countries is at best a red herring and at worst a lie.

People are unbelievable. Instead of complaining about all the drilling do something about it. We all need gas and oil. I highly doubt any of you people complaining are using horse and buggies and not using cell phones. If you really want to help try working with the companies to improve the way they drill for these resources instead of all this crap. Like it or not they are going to drill here.

These three little unemployed hipocrites are off to jail. Bet their parents are proud.

8:26 makes the best point here. We are willing to sacrifice and spend an awful lot to secure our oil supply. That's in part why our navy is as large as it is.
But civil disobedience is as American as apple pie and people harbor strong feelings, so there's no need to call them "douchey idiots", whatever that means.

That plastic pipe, was made with oil.

What if there was an emergency on the road they blocked??!!!! They should be charged with reckless endangerment and everything else they could be possibly charged with. People are entitled to their opinion but these three should be locked up, fined and billed for every single man hour to free them and every single lost man hour. Damn I can't stand small minded, radical Hippocrates.

If this happened outside of a school protesting tripling of your school taxes and they blocked a street would you still feel this way?
