My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Padlo, and his family. This is a terrible thing to have happened, and having to deal with the death of someone when it is beyond your control is a difficult thing to overcome. Prayers for the child involved, as well. He did not ask for this and was too young to be out of a seatbelt it car seat.

Very Sad Day! and yes this will hover with mr padlo the rest of his life, many prayers to all involved.
and just because the report says no seat belts, please don't jump to judgement. Sometime the ems have cut off the seatbelts and it gets put on report they were not wearing seat belts, no one to ask if they were wearing them, too critically injured

Take the time to say a prayer for all involved!! Please!!!

This is tragic in its entirety but as a father of a five year old...I feel especially sick over the little one. Such a short life and forever altered.

It also states that the car was in the 3 o'clock position when the passenger side collided with the truck?? That's not possible

3 o'clock position means it was sideways in the road! The road as the clock.

It is possible when the roads are slick and the car went over the tracks too fast for conditions. Not slamming anyone, but i see too many not slow down when its slippery.

I keep praying for this family! I surely hope the little boy was in a car seat. :(

Who cares what position the car was actually in. This was a tragic day for all families involved and we shouldn't care about the position of a car! That little boy lost his mother and is holding on for his dear life, along with Chris! We need to send prayers that the families stay strong through this and that God will help them!

I love this we have someone who lost their life but we always have that one smartass on here. Look I'm a fire fighter and I was on this call yesterday and yes the car was in the 3 o'clock. Why don't u take the 160 hour fire training n become a fire fighter and give up your time at all hours like we do and maybe u w will learn something. Its not bout the fires, mva, or the ambulance calls its bout saving people when they r in need. Just keep these people in hearts. It was a sad day and i hope the two people make it

12.19 hows that not possible?? she was going northbound and the truck was heading southbound. please tell me how that is not possible? please tell me you dont have a degree in incident reconstruction because you are an idiot.

Well said to the Firefighter, As my Husband is a Firefighter and was on this call too. It is very sad that people are arguing about the direction the car was in. 1 person has passed and two other people are fighting for their lifes. Prayers to all that have been affected by this tragedy - Friends, Family, & All Personnel On Scene
