The Seneca Highlands Career and Technical Center in Port Allegany started a National Technical Honor Society Chapter in October, 2013. They held their very first induction ceremony on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. The Career Center welcomed the above juniors and seniors from the attending local high schools. Students must have maintained a 3.0 GPA at their home school, earned a 93% or above at the Career Center for the first two marking periods and had less than three absences.

A reception for students, parents, and attending administrators from several sending schools followed the ceremony. Coffee, lemonade, cookies and cake were provided by the CTC’s Chef Paul Farmelo and his culinary students.

It's impressive that these young men and women are dressed as they are. Nice job, and congratulations to all.

What a wonderful idea! National Honor Society for these very deserving students. My grandson was a Culinary student here and I wish there had been an Honor Society then. Congratulations to all these young men and women and an extra CHEER for the ones from SAHS !
