That's all you see training and travel requests do any of these people actually do any work? Not to mention they are always hiring more. There must be a better more efficient way to operate the ever shrinking area !

Nine different training trips planned for the month, which include lodging, dining and transportation costs. Probably around 1000 bucks per trip. I'd say 9,000 dollars worth of tax payers money is well worth a more up to date, better trained force of public servants.

My point is this is every month. Our population has been shrinking down very fast for some time now. Yet the county, boroughs and townships hire more to take care of less.I have heard some of these so called (public servants)brag that their job is boring because they just sit around with very little to do! I also know of people that plan their personal shopping trips around their training trips. As far as $ 9000.00 of taxpayers money being well worth it in your eyes i know people that lived on that much in last year. Not even in small town America are our elected officials interested in saving the taxpayers any money.

There are more efficient ways of training staff than having them travel and lodge repeatedly at taxpayer expense. Most modern bureaucracies have videoconferencing and distance learning, where trainers are in a central site, and the audience is scattered about various locations. It's effective and far cheaper than what we do now.
PCHS can only do what the state tells them. The impetus for changing this archaic system needs to come from Harrisburg, and as we've seen so often, our capitol can be a mental dead zone.

What is the purpose of the Coudersport Downtown Revitalization Project? What are the actual projects that will be undertaken? We don't need anymore consultants... there have been too many of those already.

#1. Get rid of the parking meters! Nothing gives a bad taste like a $5 parking ticket when you forget to put a nickel or quarter in the meter.
