Keep your chin up! My son was visiting a few years ago from NC and his dog ran off an was gone for 9 days... She showed up at the back door the night before he left! Hope she gets home soon :)

I find it hard to believe she hasn't stopped to sniff around someone's house. They usually seek people. Holding out hope for you.

You should try a loud dog whistle or regular whistle. I've trained all my dogs to respond to them.
Many dogs will naturally stop and be drawn to them. The sound travels much farther than any shout or humans whistle.

Just returned home from a disappointing night of looking. No signs left some of our clothing in spots, each with a little dish of food. And a dogtreat of course. Hopefully when we go out in the morning she will be lying by one of them. Keep your fingers crossed. Once again thank you everyone for all your help and even encouragement. Nancy
