Westfield Man Flown After Truck Hits Tree

Westfield Man Flown After Truck Hits Tree

A Westfield man was flown by medical helicopter to a regional trauma center Thursday night after a 10:32 PM crash on Teed Hollow Road in Hector Township, Potter County.

Eugene H. Lampman, 45, of Westfield, PA, was operating a 2002 Ford F-350, traveling north on Teed Hollow Road, negotiating a right hand curve, when the back tires lost traction due to multiple bumps from poor road grading. The truck rotated slightly in a clockwise direction before leaving the roadway to the east where it struck a tree and came to final rest. Lampman was moderately injures according to troopers.

Tim A. Teller, 29, of Harrison Valley, PA, was a passenger in the truck. He refused treatment for a minor knee injury.

Trooper Mark VanVolkenburg said both Lampman and Teller were cited for not wearing seatbelts.
